Child’s permanent residence must be located in Windsor or the four-county area. (Henry, Johnson, Pettis, Benton)
Contestant must be between the ages of 3-11 on or before August 30, 2026.
Contestant must compete in the category of their gender as shown on their birth certificate
Winners must participate in the SeptemberFest Parade, Saturday, September 5th, 2026.
No cosmetic make-up is allowed for girls in age category 3-4 & 5-6; only light make-up will be allowed for ages 7-11.
Girls are required to wear a dress for the contest. The type of dress may be long, short, Sunday best, or formal.
Boys are required to wear Sunday best or suit.
Clothing (dress, suit, etc.) will not be judged. However, the overall appearance of contestant will be judged.
No HATS or PROPS allowed.
There will be no entry fee refunds.
A first, second, and third place winner will be chosen in each age category.
Age categories subject to change based on number of contestants (3 contestant minimum per category).
Judges decisions are final.
An online registration form, or a printed version of the form, and check for $20 made payable to Windsor SeptemberFest must be received for each participant according to the following deadlines:

Online Registration: Online Registration will close at 12:00am August 26th, 2025.

Drop Off Deadline: Drop off to Wanda's Bookkeeping NO later than 4:00pm August 22, 2025 209 S. Main, Windsor

Contest:

For participants Age 3-6, 2 p.m., August 30, 2026 (please arrive 15 minutes prior)

For participants Age 7-11, 3 p.m., August 30, 2026 (please arrive 15 minutes prior)

Windsor United Methodist Church 216 S. Main Street, Windsor

Crowning:
6:30 p.m., Thursday, September 3, 2026(Participants arrive by 6:15 pm!)

Main Stage on East Benton Street (In the event of rain, crowning at UMC)

Winners must hand down their title at the 2027 SeptemberFest Contest
